Welcome to [info]phantom_awards, an icon awards community for icons pertaining to the Phantom of the Opera universe, be it the movies, the stage musical, or the book. Here, you can nominate icons made by others and maybe even win awards of your own. To be a member, please read the following rules and information, and then click the "join" button.

Rules & Nominating
01. All icons must be related to the Phantom of the Opera universe in some way, shape, and/or form. This includes the movies, series, books, and musicals.
02. For every icon that you nominate of your own, you must nominate one by someone else in any category that you wish.
03. When posting nominations, put the LJ username of the iconmaker next to the icon.
04. All nominated icons must fit Livejournal's size criteria (under 40kb and 100x100 pixels or smaller).
05. Please do not put your nomnations behind an LJ-cut.
06. Nominated icons are not for sharing unless the maker gives their explicit permission.
07. Do not hotlink the icons you are nominating. Upload all images to your own imagehost. Two popular free imagehosts are ImageShack and PhotoBucket.
08. Be polite. Do not start drama in this community.

Every other Sunday (as the voting periods are two weeks long), there will be a post made for voting on icons.

You are NOT permitted to vote for your own icons.
